Our Curriculum
Our purpose is to promote the happiness and security of all children, both as individuals and as members of a community, in order that each and every child may increase their skills, knowledge and understanding in a happy and secure school environment, enabling them to be the best that they can be and reach their full potential and flourish.
The Early Years Framework and National Curriculum serves as a framework for our curriculum, which allows teachers to respond effectively to individual learning needs. Consequently, we provide teaching which is flexible, relevant and meaningful - taking onboard current educational research - in order to prepare children for their further educational development and to enable them to take part fully as citizens within our society. This is also underpinned by the Church of England’s Vision for Education, where we aim to provide opportunities for our children to experience ‘Life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10) so that all members of our school community may flourish.
