Roles and Responsibilities
Please check Google Classroom for information about your weekly homework activities. You will find your login details for Google Classroom and all of your online learning tools on your ICT Passport.
English/Maths Homework will be set on a MONDAY and should be handed in by 8.30am the following MONDAY.
Spelling and Times Tables Homework will run from a FRIDAY to a FRIDAY.
Reading Diaries/Reading Books should be brought into school EVERYDAY.
At home, you should be reading AT LEAST 4 times per week. You will have your own individual reading book and should make sure you log all your reading in your reading diary.
We will also be encouraging you to read a wide range of genres this year too - why not choose something to read that is different to the books you would usually go for?  Reading Plus will really help you to explore a range of different genres across fiction and non-fiction too!  You will have the opportunity to use Reading Plus in school, but should complete the Visual Skills/Vocabulary tasks at home in one of your reading slots.
Remember to bring your reading book and reading diary into school EVERYDAY!
Reading Plus
Please use your individual login to access Reading Plus at home to complete the different activities linked to your personal targets as part of your weekly READING HOMEWORK.
All Visual Skills/Vocabulary sessions should be completed at HOME each week, with your Reading Comprehension tasks being completed in school.  If you need some additional time (e.g. you have a special event), why not sign up to homework club at lunchtime to complete some of your activities so that you get everything done?

Weekly Spelling Lists
You will also need to log into Google Classroom to check which spelling set you need to be working on.
