READING
At home, you should be reading AT LEAST 4 times per week; as well as completing some Reading Plus at home too (2 sessions). You will have your own individual reading book and should make sure you log all your reading in your reading diary.
We will also be encouraging you to read a wide range of genres this year too - why not choose something to read that is different to the books you would usually go for? Reading Plus will really help you to explore a range of different genres across fiction and non-fiction too!
Remember to bring your reading book and reading diary into school EVERYDAY!
Reading Plus
Please use your individual login to access Reading Plus at home to complete the different activities linked to your personal targets as part of your weekly reading at home.
All Reading Comprehension sessions should be completed by the end of each week, with your Visual Skills/Vocabulary tasks being completed too You will have some time in school on Reading Plus to ensure you get these completed. If you need some additional time (e.g. you have a special event), why not sign up to homework club at lunchtime to complete some of your activities so that you get everything done?
