At Winwick Church of England Primary School, our theologically-rooted Christian vision and ethos underpin each decision that we make as leaders, with the belief that everyone in our community should be given the opportunity to flourish and achieve to be the best that they can be.  Through our core values of Love, Perseverance and Respect, we encourage and support everyone to set aspirational goals which will enable them to do this.  We instil our core values of Love, Respect and Perseverance in order for all children to achieve their potential under the spiritual guidance of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through our daily work, we aim to affirm the partnership of home, school, parish and community to enable all to flourish.

Our Christian values underpin our curriculum and enrichment opportunities, with children being nurtured to developed and grow in a safe, caring, happy environment. Our children tell us how much they enjoy their learning through all the different experiences on offer: quizzes, class residentials, sporting tournaments, music concerts and art exhibitions, to name a few.

Our aim is for every child to experience a range of opportunities so all will find something they will excel in.  We continue to achieve good academic results at each stage with the basics taught through units of work designed to inspire, motivate and bring learning to life. Our focus is on the whole child, making sure they are supported, nurtured, confident individuals who have the tools needed to be successful in the next stages of their learning and beyond, who will continue to grow and flourish after they leave us.

At Winwick, you will find a dedicated, hardworking staff team, ably supported by a committed and experienced Governing Body. Our Parent and Friends Association continue to raise sums of money through Christmas Fairs, Pupil Discos, plus different events each year, supporting school in a range of ways; our new school library being an example of this.  All within the team of Winwick and St Oswald’s Church are here for your child and your wider family.

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision; if you wish to find out more about our Values and Ethos please look through the school website or why not take the time to come and see how much Winwick has to offer by visiting us!

We look forward to meeting you and your child.
