The Bible teaches that life is a gift from God and it is our responsibility to use our talents and abilities in the best way we can.
  • How can we act responsibly in the classroom and in school?
  • What leadership roles do we have in school and do we take responsibility in making decisions about our school?
  • How can we look after our environment? Do we recycle? Have we offered to support the Winwick Litter Picking Network? Do you use single use plastic or do you use a re-usable water bottle? What about plastic in your lunchboxes?
  • Do you take responsibility for your own learning? Do you complete all your weekly reading to ensure you make progress? Do you go back and use your time to edit your work? If you have struggled with something in school, have you spoken to the teacher and done some further work on it?

In school, we will be thinking about the following in our weekly worships. We would love you to add to our Value display in school each week with your ideas...
  • Taking responsibility for what we say: add words of encouragement to the speech bubbles on the central value display
  • Taking responsibility for our time: take a time token on the central display and use your time to help others. Pick one you will be able to do.
  • Taking responsibility for managing our anger or frustrations: jot down on the bullet point list what Jesus might be frustrated with about how our world is being treated by humans.
  • Using our gifts responsibly: bring in a photo of you doing something that you are talented in, take some blutac and add it to the central display.
  • Taking responsiblity for our family: add a photo of your family to our central display to show how precious they are to you.
